EXCURSIONS AND INITIATIVES IN THE NATURE AREAS

The territory of Reggello offers a great many opportunities for practicing lots of cultural and sports-related activities in a natural environment: excursions, horseback riding, climbing, archery. Every year, in collaboration with various local associations, the Comune of Reggello, organises hikes; laboratories, visits and excursions, so as to discover the territory and its historic and natural patrimony. The Kite Festival, the Night of the Stars, and the Summer Festival in the Houses of Sant’Antonio have been among the most successful of these activities.

Many sports associations organise outside events and activities during the summer period, and that is not all:

The Associazione Geco organises nature excursions and walks;

The  La Madre Terra association organises nature laboratories;

Arcieri dell’Eremo promotes archery by organising competitions in the territory and courses for children, young people and adults:

Cavalieri delle Balze organises riding courses and outings on horseback.
